The economy is controlled by consumers. When a product isn't bought, it disappears from the market. The Edsel is a great example.

Elon and Trump don't understand that both government and economy exist by the will of the people and for the people. If there are no buyers of a product, it soon disappears from the market. If the people think something about the economy is wrong, they will right it by means at their disposal. What is phenomenal about this thing about Musk and Tesla is that it's done (except for the explosion—don't do it, folks!) by legal and socially acceptable ways! Power of the People!
