  1. I fear as a country we have done ourselves and the world ruin. It can last for 4 years or longer. I hope that even as early as 2026 I can help bring truth to the fore, to let my Congresspeople know what I want them to do, and to vote for the right leaders. And I hope that my fellow Americans and I can make our desire for healthy relations and good economy to prosper with all nations (Russia and cronies notwithstanding). Let us be able and willing to move forward with rightful action and goodwill in our hearts.

  2. ​ @Stevienicksfan-h1h  unfortunately he did win the popular vote by about 2 million votes (1%) out of about 152 million voters. I am ashamed.

  3. ​ @rosehill9537  But as you pointed out, many stayed home. Of those who voted, 1% more of the voters voted for Trump by people. So he had both the popular vote and the Electoral vote. But know this: when voters stay home, the right wing candidates win. More often than not, those who stayed home hurt the left wing candidates every time.

  4. I'm worried that it's not just economic bashing by Trump. In a week and a day he will become the face of America to the world. Every stupid thing he does represents America for better or worse. And what will happen to our long-term relationships? I feel countries won't forgive us right away. Just like Putin's regime is bringing economic ruin to his people, and the world won't forgive Russia right away even if he concedes. Will long-term economic sanctions against USA be our fate?

  5. You are right to demand better off us. Tho do understand there was NO LANDSLIDE VICTORY for Trump. He does not have a mandate from the people. The vote was close: about 75 million for Harris and 77 million for Trump. 48% Kamala, 49% for Trump. But we can't give ourselves up for lost. I think we must rearrange and reinvent ourselves. I've been wanting to see businesses in USA to invest in the people who make the products, who stock the shelves, who cashier, who take and fulfill orders. Who operate the phones, who give expert help.
