  1. Your liver and kidneys detox your body well. And in my experience, the less I mess with my colon, the better. I don't want my intestines to forget how to work, which is a possible hazard from taking laxatives frequently. Apples and dark green leafy vegetables are my go-to's. But veggies and fruits give that kind of bulk as well. I give myself carte blanche in the grocery produce section of my grocery store. Yum! And If you think about it, real food has everything you need to make your digestive system happy.
