I don't know in other countries, but in the US, I understand in every blueprint of every building is the information on how to destroy it. No building lasts forever or is meant to. When a building is beyond its useful lifespan, especially a big building, it is demolished with explosive charges. Demolition teams can make a building come down in any direction, even fall straight down into its foot, just like the World Trade Centers in 2001. (9-11, remember?) In fact, that incident was so perfectly executed that I was angry for a time after that and outraged. Someone knew how to bring down the WTC's, and everyone in the US Government acted surprised and shocked. Don't the CIA and FBI keep tabs on this?
But yes, every building has its weak points.
