I agree. Movie makers make loud sounds too loud, just like a lot of live DJ's play too loudly. I live a quarter mile away from my grocery where they once had a promotional DJ. I could hear the DJ as if they were right under my window. I thought it was somebody playing their car stereo with the windows open. Movie makers are doing the same thing, and they really don't need to. People can only stand so much. Use more mics.
