  2. It's not the people of Russia who are to blame. The people understand and care. I'll bet if those staunchly behind Putin met Ukrainians and didn't know who they were, those Russians wouldn't be against them. We in America had a power- hungry leader who did similar things as Putin did. We got rid of ours. Fortunately it was easy enough to do so in the 2020 election, and peace prevailed still. It was a wake-up call about tyranny and fascism. I see many Russian troops following their hearts despite their orders. For that I am grateful. And I support them. I support the Ukrainian people as well. Perhaps one day in the near future the government in Russia will realize they don't have to fight to keep peace. Russia could have such a prosperous and loving relationship with its surrounding countries, even as they are free and sovereign states. I hope that comes about.
