Just make sure you vote. Do you mean those American citizens who have retired or are on Social Security in keeping with their highest year of working in their careers? That we paid into all our lives as everyone else who works pays into it? This has not changed since SSA inception. There are a lot of us retirees and SSA-eligible Americans out there. Most of us are Baby Boomers—a very large, significant cohort of American citizens born between 1945 and 1964. This large cohort started retiring in 2010. It is only now getting around to me. And that doesn't include disabled American citizens, which does include me. We are many. And I have been cognitive of politics since the mid 1970's.

Yes. Kindness and respect. Not cool to scoff at someone to say it, even if that person is polar opposite of your beliefs. I've had to eat crow about some things the presidents I don't like have said. Don't be above taking advice from a polar opposite if the advice makes sense. What you decide can look like what many people decide because the choices are few. But the decision is yours and yours alone. Don't be mean.

The survey that counts is the ballot at the General Election. That ends every prediction. The surveys of about 15 questions,are each 100 words long, are hard to listen to and hard to say over the phone. The paragraphs are loaded without seeming loaded. Many people reject them. It's easy to skew to the answer you want.

If you don't read legislation, how can you even give an opinion? Talking about restaurants, restaurants and bars are losing their business because of Covid - 19 and to the fact that reducing and closing their businesses is the most effective measure to preventing Covid-19 spread. Since they bear the brunt of the measures, we owe them their lost revenue. There is a moratorium on evictions, but real estate owners are losing a lot of money on their rental properties. We owe them. Utilities, too. We owe them. People were laid off due to distancing requirements and need to feed their families. Others are wiped out of a savings by being infected by Covid-19. And everyone infected down to children are reaching their insurance maximums on Covid-19 alone. Be very grateful you have your anchor and correspondent jobs: you have income. Many people don't. And the reason the $2000 was reduced to $1400 is because the Republicans grudgingly let the Public have $600 already. $600 + $1400 = $2000. What happened? Did you forget your math tables already? Or were you one of the unfortunate ones who weren't taught math in school? Or were you also not taught how to read?

Hey, ABC, why did your streaming of the debate seize up? None of my other channels froze. I changed over to PBS and their stream never froze.

You can't sustain a war by sending in untrained soldiers, no matter how many you have, when the opposite side has highly-trained, well-secured, well-informed, highly-coordinated troops like Ukraine has. Ukraine did not fall, and they won't. This is not the Korean War. And even in the Korean War China did not take South Korea.

Media pundits suck. People are hurting in this country, Republicans and Democrats alike. Being a liberal Democrat, I want to see people get what they need, no matter the party, skin color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, or housing status. Or car or phone status. Because some people live out of their cars, and having a permanent phone number is the only way many can communicate with their community. Many don't have computers, and the 2 hours a day they can get at the library is often not enough.
