  1. I think you didn't hear that Mark Rober did hand off all his footage to FBI/CIA/Homeland Security. In one of his videos, Mark said these agencies really appreciated all his footage, but they themselves couldn't do it. Government restrictions and all, but they did encourage Mark to keep doing his thing.

  2. Here is an exception to your examples: dew on plants. Plants are definitely affected by the humidity in the air, and on a cold day, they do have dew at their surfaces. However, plants also have dew on their surfaces because of a wicking mechanism called transpiration. There is a column of water from the leaves all the way down to the root. The water continues to go up the plant vessel by evaporating at the leaf pore. When the first molecule of water evaporates, it pulls up the next water molecule, and behind it the next, and so on. Transpiration goes on most all the time, but how fast it happens is affected by humidity and dew point. This is different from condensation on a cold Coca-cola bottle, a frozen bag of peas, or even "spit" in a trombone.

  3. I do need to get past my sensibilities regarding pee in water. Though I could bring myself to drink water after pee was filtered out. This is all much better than getting typhoid fever from waterways that are not systematically cleaned and maintained. I think, however, I will have to use my superhuman talent of cognitive dissonance to help me through the rest.

  4. I hope you managed to kick their a— I mean teach them a fine life lesson! But if there were a show of people making great gadgets to deter thieves, and the results of the booby traps they triggered, I'd be ALL up for that show!
