The first thing I noticed about the pineal gland is that it looks like an eye surrounded by eyelids: that spindle shape we see as we look at each other. It's kinda cute! As far as the seat of Soul, my belief is Soul can reside anywhere in the body. And the chakras are ways for Soul to enter and exit the body during contemplation and sleep. According to my practices, the crown chakra (top of head) is the most important chakra anyway. And Soul really isn't part of the body. It wears a body on Earth to protect It.
