I agree that truth is stranger than fiction, and if this were portrayed in a fictitious story, it would be thrown out and never be made in Hollywood, CA, although Hollywood, FL might be an option because, well, you know, Florida Man. (There's going to be that time someone thinks it's a good idea to pitch a series on Florida Man and Florida Woman. Although the Florida Chamber of Commerce might have something to say about that.)

  4. Is "influence" consideration? An artist hardly ever gets compensation for their work so they can pay the bills with it. Nobody wants to pay an artist except with "exposure." But if "influence" means ability to guarantee monetary payments, I'd say that's consideration.

  5. Makes sense. Nobody wants to pay artists for their work though it is as legitimate an occupation as a lawyer or doctor, whose practices are art in themselves.
