@christineburdett6913 Actually, when a person has flatlined, no shock would start the heart. The defibrillator is just that: a shocker that changes the heart's pacemaker signal so that the heart can change electrical signals so the atria stop quivering and resume beating properly. Chest compressions circulate the blood to the victim's brain with oxygen the blood still has. This helps buy time till help comes. They don't wake up, and a pulse isn't all you need to make sure of because it can stop again. Do not pound the chest first (precordial thump). It does not do any good. Find the sternum. Lace your fingers together and place on the middle of the sternum. Kneel so your arms are vertical, straight - arm it, and press hard 2 inches deep. Do it to the beat of "Staying Alive." It's hard work, but that is the easiest and most effective method. Don't worry about breathing. Keep pressing deeply. And don't worry about cracking ribs. This person is dead. You are trying to give them a second chance. The "Good Samaritan" law in many states, if not all, has you covered.

The containment system to move the velociraptors is a glorified cat trap. The velociraptor is not a cat.

Legal fallout is the least of your problems.

The fossils probably have a shady history, especially if Hammond "spared no expense." Dr. Malcolm mentioned he stood on the shoulders of other scientists, doing what they developed. So I can't see Hammond at a dinosaur dig, digging out dinosaurs with his own hands. Also, state and local law probably have something to say about whether and how they can be transported and who can own them. I think Hammond spared no expense to purchase them illegally and on the sly.

Big screens will magnify both intentional cheese and intentional scary stuff.

Objection: if a University (I know of Ave Maria University) on the coast of Florida can prepare for hurricanes and keep people safe, these guys can have studied this island off Costa Rica for weather patterns for, say, a decade and prepared for that and worse. Other evidence of this comes from my own hometown, Louisville, Kentucky which received flooding in the 1937 Flood to cover most of the city. We have a flood wall that was constructed to be 10 feet higher than the crest the Ohio River made during that flood. In addition there are places that are allowed to flood to reduce the impact of any swells of the river. Two such places are Cox's Park northeast of Louisville and Beargrass Creek which has three forks running through Louisville. Precautions against regulars heavy weather or even historical weather instances can be done.

A monorail should be a way to keep people away from the fences. Also, Lexan (r) is used to create unbreakable windows for police vehicles. Should this material be used in conjunction with steel and reinforced concrete to create viewing areas for visitors? Granted polar bears are not T. rex's, but this kind of construction is used in this sort of way to create viewing portals under the water the polar bears are playing in. In addition, material that withstands the pressures of water needed to hold inhabitants of an aquarium exists and can be molded in ways to withstand crushing forces. These days a large HDTV system can be used to observe the habitat remotely and made so that a visitor can feel immersed in the action. E.g. IMAX screens.

That's the first thing I thought! Considering he was picked by his co-conspirator, I think a better choice should have been made than someone who nervously giggled throughout the briefing of the crime. Nervousness is something I don't want in a partner when working with sensitive materials in a dangerous environment. I would pick Bruce Willis in Hudson Hawk for the job, especially since he does his work with a song on his lips. And a bad guy willing to commit larceny would also find a way to get his accomplice into the mix without raising suspicions if the accomplice was someone outside the group. Then again, if he hired the Hudson Hawk, he would have to party him more than he paid the stooge.

@greghannibal "I'm sure he did the best he could." Damning with faint praise.

"And you don't want us exposing ourselves!" I'd like to see Mr. Tuttle evaluated on his work as an attorney in _Ghost Busters II_.
