Dad always gave me this metaphor (even tho it is technically a simile): Like Caesar's wife... Like Caesar's wife, Fani Willis must be above reproach. All the interactions may be very legitimate and proper, but they border on that line of ambiguity, and I'm afraid the hair-splitting goes right over Fani Wills' toe. And Mr. Wade's toe. More over Mr. Wade's toe than Ms. Willis because he didn't divorce before 2022. It doesn't matter who you are or what you think about your marriage, whether it's irreparable or not, until that divorce decree is in hand, you are still married. It's unfair that there must be a period of separation before divorce, IMO, and there are plenty of men in office now or in the past who have engaged in worse impropriety than dating during separation. But this situation is a disqualifier. Just barely, but it is. May the outcome be just.
