  1. There's an SOP for that. In an Army court martial, a soldier the rank of Major may judge the trial. The procedure is similar to civilian court. Defense can collect evidence for their case, they can call witnesses, and they can cross-examine the prosecution's witnesses.

  5. Objection! Nobody is allowed into a judicial building or courthouse without being searched. All weapons would be confiscated from civilians including jurors.
