  1. One thing my geology class touched on was the original crust now found as shields throughout the world. Is Nuna that original shield of rock? I learned that small parts of the original shield can still be found in places like Canada (the Canadian shield). How far back can we trace land on Earth? Was it always here? Did lands come first or water? Can original shield rock be found in mountainous regions? How long does it take for land to be subducted beyond recoverability? I'd like to know more about this.
