  1. I'm glad to see these schedule one substances being discussed. They were taboo subjects in my teens and twenty-somethings. Not discussed in school. Consumed in places outside the school but not far away. Knowing what they do, I can make informed decisions about them. I've always felt that these substances had medical applications.

  2. Audie Murphy was a most amazing man! His movie To Hell and Back should be required watching in history classes. As it is, it shows his strong countenance and strength of command. He is a real person in this movie, not an over-dramatic actor. It is a good medium to portray him as he was. No, don't try to immitate him. Texas accents are a lot more subtle than people assume.

  3. I'm sorry to say I knew next to nothing about Frida Khalo. Shame on me: my Dad also had polio and had to redefine himself over the years as he fought the complications that followed him throughout his life. Now that I know, I can appreciate and honor her more.
