@Sandy Harris: Pretty much the entirety of Trump's rhetoric is centred around nurturing fear, anger, and division. Putting that to one side however, why did you completely ignore the fact that he lies and promotes false and misleading information (''alternative facts'') at a rate never before seen from a US President?

That is a very strange relativist position to adopt. Oversight should be concerned with whether content is factual, objective, and not deliberately misleading.

It will be interesting to see how this pans out over the coming months. Facebook's own enforcement of their Community Standards is woefully inadequate (I think the only objectionable content I've seen taken seriously and removed is that which promotes physical violence or hints at violent threats towards people). Racism, animal abuse, false information, homophobia, transphobia, etc all seem to get a free pass. It's just not good enough.
