She's not claiming to be an authority she is learning about all this as she goes. Feeling passionately about protecting our environment. She is following the scientists and often says don't take my word follow the science.

Greta I watched your PBS program and feel more informed however I feel we need to have some hope in all this. When you said we don't need hope to bring about change I think we do otherwise it all feels so futile. I try in my daily life to alter my habits and my environmental impact. I see the excess all around me of unbridled capitalism and it is disturbing that our world has become so consumer driven and because of this I feel little hope. My mind goes to the things I see around me daily sometimes minute by minute. I feel such hopelessness. I live in Ohio and feel we have seen some effects but not nearly as much as in other places. I liked when you showed the technologies that are being used to combat climate change. I would love to see more movement in plastic recycling technologies and doing away with single use plastics and emphasis on wind , solar and geo thermal power. I lam hopeful about carbon capture and hope we can save the rain forest and coral reefs. Human activity has imposed its wrath on everything and it is devastating but we must find hope, I praise you for your passion. You are an inspiration to have the courage to see up close and personal all the effects. Can't say I would be able to do the same.

@gigisdiamonds if she does great if she doesn't that's fine too. Virtue signaling really? Sorry if my passion for protecting the earth in which we live in and depend on for our very existence offends or pushes buttons.
