  2. Don't forget making big corporations pay their fair share in taxes. In a functioning healthy society all players have to pay to play. Yet I hear poor and average income republicans being against Biden wanting to finally make big corporations pay their fair share instead of paying very little or no tax to help with the infrastructure they use as much as the average tax payer. This does not compute.

What I think holds many back from wrapping their heads around the climate crisis is the feeling of helplessness. The ones who still back trump will see it as a failed attempt that should have succeeded. They will not see it as dangerous or a cautionary tale.
