I'd do a lot of shameful things for something like an M5 wagon. Hell, I'd be happy with an old E39 Wagon!
5
The V12s are cool and all, but this is the enthusiast's SL.
5
This, and a G Wagon, are the perfect dailies for the Newport families
5
You know what? I was totally expecting the interior to suck and remind me of cars from 2005, but I am pleasantly surprised!
5
Back when Maserati didn't suck!
5
2023 7 Series: "Oh? You're approaching me? Instead of running away, you're coming right to me?"
5
@alh06 The chassis of the Giulia was designed by the same dude who designed the chassis from the Pista.
5
If ICE vehicles aren't outlawed by then, this is gonna be my midlife crisis mobile
5
This is the only EV I'd ever consider owning (if I had the money for it, lol)
5
Out of all the newer Benz's, this and a G-Wagon is all I'd buy. Oh, and maybe an older E63 Touring.
5
A true Rolls Royce in the gorgeous New Hampshire roads is truly a sight to see!
5
Nothing beats the soundtrack of a V12! Gonna miss them when they're gone for sure
5
@kekw4630 I thought Europeans were fiercely against SUV excess
5
I'm not an off-road guy, but even I can appreciate what Jeep has done here. Not to mention that the modifications are 👌
5
That Odyssey at the end though, talk about not respecting the drive.
5
Can't wait to see you drive a regular drop top SL65. There is little better than hearing a V12 top down roar while you're blasting at 100mph down the freeway.
5
You've mentioned the Crown Vics, so I think you'll like the old Lincolns. The Continental, the Town Car, the MKVIII, the LS, and even the Aviator
5
Ah, the joys of owning FWD cars. I remember taking my little hatchback off that tight entrance ramp corner on Fairheaven, the one coming from 240 into I95, I took that corner at 80, on cheap all season tires. Damn near wrecked my car into the guardrail as the corner tightened up, but a little bit of lift off oversteer saved my ass.
5
You're not baiting me with that title, Tom. I know it's going to Garage42! And I think there's no better place for your car to be stored in.
5
This brings back memories. My dad had an 80's Bullnose Bronco (from right before they ruined the styling of them) and I loved going on rides in it as a kid.
5
Got that Miata in its natural habitat!
4
This, and the MGB were the Miatas of the 1960s.
4
The true sports cars have died a long time ago. Nowadays nothing is raw, everything is numb, and loaded with leather and techy gizmos we don't give a flip about (Keep in mind, I say this as someone who loves to be in the bleeding edge of technology where it comes to hardware).
4
Am I crazy or is this the Celica generation that Toyota got caught cheating with at WRC?
4
C1 and C3 are the most beautiful classic Corvettes made, in my opinion.
4
We love a good bathtub Porsche here on the Tedward channel
4
Back when Nissan made good quality cars. How the mighty have fallen 😢
4
The Achilles heel of the N62 are the valve seals. Once those are gone, it's typically more money than the car is worth to fix them.
4
Ah, the Elantra N, the car that will get you in trouble if you drive it in Track mode in Cali 😅
4
This is the best choice to buy if you can't swing the purchase/maintenance price of an early Boxster. Glad to see it on the channel.
4
They're decently reliable, on par with the Germans. They've been putting that Ferrari-designed V6 on everything. You do have to make sure to have good batteries because the electronics hate voltage drops.
4
Man, the interior on that thing puts ANY Maybach to shame! Wow
4
Ooh baby, I need one of these 😅
4
This is oddly relatable. My co-worker's girlfriend's daily driver is a restored crew-cab, long bed F150 of the era, and I can see why. These are simplistically beautiful trucks.
4
Gotta be honest with you Tom, you're turning me into an Euro car enthusiast. Now if only they weren't so goddamn expensive.....
4
I bet this brings back memories of Tom's old Celica
4
Dude, shhhhh. My mom loves Aston Martin's. Unfortunately, I cant afford to buy her one :/
4
I'm pleasantly surprised by the interior on this thing, however, i dont think its a $50k vehicle. Then again, when the RAV4 Prime is getting marked up out the waxoo, maybe this starts to make a little more sense.
4
This video just made me appreciate the simplicity of my gas guzzler more. I don't have to think about where's the next charger, or worry about if they're operational. I can just get in and go.
4
This is definitely one of the better choices someone can make as a road trip vehicle. It's got ample room for passengers and luggage, and it's going to be about as comfortable as it gets below triple digit MSRPs.
4
@Video-Games-Are-Fun And what will you do to read your speed or your RPM when your fancy display inevitably burns out? At least with a classic gauge cluster you can just swap the needle motors and be right back to business, but on these fancy screens, it's a replacement screen you've gotta buy.
4
I think that the only SUVs on the road today that would attract more attention than this would be something like a Bentayga, Urus, or maybe a Purosangue.
4
Rather have an R8 to be perfectly honest. Nothing beats the sound of a naturally aspirated V10 :D
4
Specially the older ones. They think they're Vince from Fast and Furious or something
4
He didn't wanna get smoked by a grandpa Benz! 🤣
4
BMW v12 problems, hard pass.
4
Man, I imagine it was pretty surreal, driving a racecar'd version of your car. Hopefully the car made you feel better about your purchase.
4
You know a car is fast when Tom has to censor the speedo
4
I want a 528i Touring so bad. I think it could make a killer sleeper wagon if enough time, money, and elbow grease was put in it.
4
I think the Chevy conversion vans beat it. Not only can you get the LQ9, but you also get more space, and depending on which van you got, more amenities. Not to mention that the Previa is terribly unsafe.
