She has not lived in California for almost 3 years. It’s called carpetbagging. Per the constitution, it is illegal for a senator to not live in the state they are appointed to, like Butler.

This is about Constitutional law. The more it’s broken, the worse things will become for our country and it’s people. If she lived in California for the last six months to a year then this wouldn’t be a topic. But, she lived in Maryland for the last two years.

Remember, their governor and other leaders enacted authoritarian edicts yet broke those “rules” all the time. You do remember that, right? To be fair, Butler isn’t the first carpetbagger we have had in this country, but that doesn’t make it right nor legal.
