@KM-tx7mn Americans do work on farms though. Monetary policy is the primary driver of inflation. Surges in immigration slows the growth of wages. Being that farm workers supply most of our food, it only makes sense they make more if they’re legal. You just want extremely underpaid labor from foreigners, the modern day slave labor. 👍🏻

@KM-tx7mn It is estimated that $70 billion is extracted from the U.S. economy annually by undocumented workers who send their earnings back to their home countries, that’s bad for our economy. Nearly 40 million tons of food is wasted in the US, the most in the world. We are also quite obese for a country. Removing illegals would actually benefit our country.

@KM-tx7mn More than 96% of money arriving in Mexico is sent from the US, primarily from California and Texas. In 2023, 63 billion in remittances were sent back to Mexico. Now compare that to 10 billion in taxes. I hope your math is decent… I don’t mind immigrants becoming citizens as long as it was done the lawful and appropriate way. We import 15% of our food supply. We export 20% of the food we produce. Again, you are arguing for modern slave labor. Saying it benefits the rest of the country that we have under-skilled workers being paid far less. That was the same thing early American slavers said. Immigration fuels inflation by stoking more consumer demand for products and services. They pay less in taxes because they generally earn far less.

@KM-tx7mn No that number is for illegal immigrants, not all immigrants. About 30 billion was paid in taxes by illegals. Which means 2/3 of what illegals make goes back home and it doesn’t stay in this country. It is estimated that they cost the US taxpayers over 150 billion. Do the math. And again, massive immigration like this only raises inflation.
