@Kukaboora There is nothing to be confused about. This is something that our government has been doing for several decades. We are helping a corrupt nation defend itself against another corrupt nation. That is not our responsibility. Allow the UN or NATO to deal with it.

@Kukaboora It is our government that is neglecting its citizens. Throwing money at a problem doesn’t fix it. Doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result, is insanity. The majority of our problems can not be solved by money. I don’t care who the “leader” is, but I never agreed with Iraq or Afghanistan and I was too young to remember Iran. Iraq and Afghanistan were conflicts we should’ve stayed out of but since we didn’t, millions of innocents are dead and it’s even worse off in those regions.

@Kukaboora What Cosmic is saying is that while we do have the financial capabilities of taking care of our own, majority of the funds delegated for such goes to other programs. And while our own struggle and live in filth, our government would rather support foreign wars between corrupt nations than their own citizens. Politicians tend to do the opposite of what they say…
