  2. You guys might want to look that up! People have scared off cougars/mountain lions with hats, umbrellas, sticks, rocks, etc. I’m not saying to attack it but loud noises and moving objects typically scare them away. I live in cougar country and this is common knowledge. The moment the cougar runs away is when that man picked up a rock and threw it. One thing for sure is if he turned around, he’d be lunch!

  5.  @VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM  trying to run from most predatory animals will result in being attacked, it’s instinct to give into the chase.
