  2.  @gregowski_pl  He was in a concentration camp when the killings happened. His closest allies and essentialy second in command did the slaughter many. Bandera set the groundwork by declaring all pols should be assimilated and their politicians killed. The fact he was in a camp at the time of the killings has lead some to divorce him from the event. Which he at the very least set the groundwork for if not had complacency in the killings. There are plenty of Ukranian ww2 hero's who don't have as dirty a past who really deserve focused instead. Unfortunately all eroupean country's have small far right parties and Ukraine is no exception, the Azov battalion with about 900 recruits is connected to a small far right political party.
