@AstroGremlinAmerican well i know Canada increased production and is working with Germany to open up more LNG facilities on the west coast. Their plan is to lower the price and free up middle Eastern gas for Europe. They are also working with Germany to develop hydrogen technology. IDK much about merica, but I know they have been going around making deals with OPEC and others to increase production.

Johnny H Johns IDK if Australia would escape fallout. If russia nukes, then the US responds, russia nukes them, US nukes back, russia hits the big red button, sends everything flying everywhere. I'm pretty sure he has at least a few ear marked for Australia. China might react to nukes coming in their general direction with nukes of their own.

@Goprof150 the sanctions are in place. They take effect December 5th and Febuary 5th next year. All gas, oil, and petroleum byproducts.

@KB4QAA "no senior leader ever advocated neucular escalation" you should look at Americas neucular policy 1945 to 1963. Their initial plan if they think russia was sending a nuke was to send a bunch to russia and hit as many major population centers as possible. It started with 66 cities then ballooned to every city in russia. In 1960 it was decided Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, and Albania, along with every city in china would also be nuked. This was their official response plan to react to a strike. Whipe out half the world. Plan was finally modified in 63 to be a little more reasonable. It took till the end of the cold war before America started to come to their senses.

@Cossack Oleg from the Varangian Rurik dynasty. Muscovy was part of the Empire of rus until the Mongol invasion. They bent over and payed tribute while Ukraine fought back. They were no longer part of the Empire but some of their internal documents still refered to them as the tsardom of rus. Nobody out side of their government called them that until peter made it so.

@RUS The khanate was a forign rulings class. The ethnic majority of the area was Slavic. They were officially the Tsardom of Muscovy (Moscow) until peter. Until Peter citizens called themselves muscovites.
