As of October 18th Indian Oil Corporation and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited stopped buying russian crude in preparation for the new oil and gas sanctions taking place on December 5th. If caught reselling russian fuel then retaliatory sanctions go into effect.

They have also sanctioned russia along with Ecuador, Peru, Chili, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica. You only really have friends in Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador down south. You have less friends in Asia then you seem to think too.

  7.  @danwelterweight4137  Russia didn't sell any LNG. LNG is much diffrent from crude, it's more efficient, burns cleaner, and is much more dense. There's also the Baltic pipline to help Germany. Also Romania is stepping up crude production and using it's existing pipeline infrastructure. Not to mention the huge underground strategic reserves in Germany. They have time.

  9. It has political significance but very little war time tactical advantage. In fact it's size and location in the conflict pretty much makes it a no mans land, or at least it should. In peace it has some logistics and strategic value but its minimal. The islands to small to build up much on it.

Bad lables are bad for investors confidence. Which hurts financing and lowers stock value. A problem already faced by roughly 200 western buisneses that tried to do buisnes in russia as usual. This will further compound their credibility issue which is killing their stocks right now.

  24.  @felixhabarugira7680  The ukranian army continues to grow, Russia deployment only shrinks. Russia has yet to declare war and properly mobilize. Putin is facing stagnation and he's going to hit a hard recession around a year from now. The longer it goes the better the odds for Ukraine. When Russia failed to grab Kyiv it was like Germany's faliure at Dunkirk.

The article details how Russia had inveted them to join more then a decade ago. Argentina has sent aid to ukraine, condemned Russia, and put some sanctions on Russia. It's very unlikely they would join.

Read the OHCHR report, they refer to the breakaways as terorist states and the referendum as rigged. There were only 2 options join Russia or become independent. No choice to stay. Most booths had armed guards and few voted.
