Pipelines carry their supply west to Europe. russia hardly has the infrastructure to sell in any meaningful volume to india and China. The Ural mountains and longer distance add expensive challenges It takes about 35-40 days for russian gas to enter India. It only takes 1 or 2 days to send to Europe. russia will need a massive development project to move the energy east. Unfortunately for russia, they don't manufacture the turbines and other equipment necessary to move the energy east.
