  1.  @jkc3738  "no one has ever gotten sick drinking tap water" i don't think that's true of any country. Nobody is 100% perfect. As for china it depends. Costsl cities are usually quite nice. Mainland is still pretty rural and under developed. Tofu dregs and what not.

Most of the workers in Quotar are considered slaves. So i guess you are braging that china is good at using slaves to construct a facade for the FIFA cup? In Brazil most of the FIFA infrastructure has already fallen apart. Quotar probably won't even have half the stadiums in 10 years.

  13. Any economic commenter worth their salt has read adam smith's wealth of nations. They know continued and unlimited growth is the core concept that drives the economy. Greta Thunberg famously criticized this core concept of economists in her famous 2019 U.N speech. 💬 stagnancy is considered a faliure by economists.

  15. Because people won't travel to or invest as much in China if they remain closed off politically. Companies like huawei are heled back by the political baggage.
