You forget to mention that there is a huge effort (that far outweighs our own) in manipulating and undermining western society, politics and policies by our competitors around the world. We are operating, historically speaking, a new system to what has previously existed and it has proven to be wildly more successful and beneficial to those that choose to live within it. It’s not perfect and has a lot to improve on but it is far better then the alternative Authoritarian, dictatorial, kleptocratic regimes that has run the globe for 1000s of years. We can find a lot to critique about any country. I’m Australian with European roots and I always call Australia “the lucky country” but we have plenty of issues when you scratch the surface. I would still die for it if it meant my kids can continue enjoying everything there is to offer in this beautiful place. PEOPLE: don’t let MSM and propaganda distort your view of reality.

@georgeroumeliotis2239 I see your point of view expressed by many. I’m not great at debating but… those who know me say I have lived many lives in my 40years. One has to be so cautious about ANY INFORMATION that they choose to accept or justify in their minds. Who is speaking ? Who is in charge of that speaker? Who is informing them? Who is endorsing them? What is their agenda/motive? Is their agenda politically, economically or religiously motivated? Why do they believe what they believe? I spent a lot of time researching how propaganda, fakes, misinformation and misuse of AI can easily trick and manipulate the brain. Also, cultism is a phenomenon that is not sufficiently talked about. I was raised in a cult. I grew up and saw past the BS that in turn, opened my eyes to much of the BS in our world. And any soldier that fights in a war like those in our recent history will suffer severe PTSD regardless of which side they fought. The American soldiers got better care overall than those in Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq or anywhere else. As a society that looks to media for info, we are only bombarded with negative doom and gloom stories. The good news is not “entertaining” enough.
