  1. That’s a complete misunderstanding of the reason for the US or other democratic countries being militarily involved in these areas. These areas are home to brutal regimes that have existed long before the US/UK was a thing. We encourage like minded leadership to take control of these countries so that the people can actually live a free and prosperous existence, benefiting from selling local resources, instead of an elite minority. Every time this is happening, Russia, Iran are right there to undermine our efforts as well as arm and support the local tyranny. Since WW2 we want to provide equitable equality and security around the world. To a few old regimes and systems, this is a threat to their own existence hence we have conflict and terrorism as they fight to keep power and legitimacy.

  2. Religion , as you outlined in your comment, is quite literally a weapon. A propaganda weapon to keep you: Loyal ,Law abiding,Uniform as a population When the state and the church are 1, this is the most dangerous form of religion because the state can call on you to kill for the state in the name of the a said “god”. That takes away any moral compass of a human being because they think they are doing gods work. Religion is a major problem. I hope one day our world will be able to understand that it is as big a threat, if not much bigger, to humanity as is global warming.
