You are right. NATO could be considered the opposition to the Soviet Union Empire Expansions. Can kinda see why Putin is against it but it’s time for Russia to progress to a new regime so it can be a positively productive partner to the EU countries. I wonder why? 🤔 The idea that one “empire is better then another is debatable on so many levels. We all want to believe and promote what we live for and why we feel it’s a better system or reality! And we will take any little bit of info we can get and blow it out of proportion to make the “other side” look bad. Personally for me , I would rather be on the Western side for now then on the side that is run by criminals who fake and falsely everything from education to military training to history itself. History is not something that should be changed and twisted to suit a particular regime’s needs and ambitions. That is exactly what Russia and China are doing. If you need confirmation, check their education systems Textbooks on history over the last 20years alone. It’s truly shocking .

24th February 2022 was the day a new “Westinghouse Nuclear fusion program”was being launched at the Zaporizija Nuclear Power Station. The new tech is supposed to produce 2.2x more energy. There are so many different reasons for Russia to try to create a land bridge to Crimea and in general, try to overthrow the Ukrainian government.

@robsurname4054 Think about this. Why is Crimea (Sevastopol) so important to Russia 🇷🇺 Then think about why it needs the solid defendable land bridge from Donbas to Kherson to secure it? Russia is /was trying to secure important Geopolitical land that gives them dominance over the Black Sea and a better position to gain access to the Mediterranean. Turkey (the NATO wildcard) doesn’t really care if NATO or Russia controls Crimea. They will do business with who ever wins the situation. What’s more… the best way for Russia to continue its influence in to Western Europe is to gain better control over the seas 1st. Then it can use stronger position in future to back up land grabs. Listening to PuTin’s speeches back in the 1999 presidential handover tells us everything we needed to know about where he was going to take Russia n the 21st century. This was all 100% predictable

@tsugumorihoney2288 Not sure how else to put this but…. Russia does not qualify to be an EU or a NATO member(or a UN member) . Putin never truly thought that would be possible. Russian Kremlin regime can’t even follow UN standards in it’s own back yard let alone while at war with its neighbours. It’s been that way for centuries! It’s just how Russia works. The people have always allowed authoritarian men to run the country and those that don’t approve are oppressed and inhumanly treated. Probably less so today then 100years ago but it’s still happening behind closed doors. In China too! They can paint the West through Propaganda and lies all they want to their people. We won’t forget ✌🏻
