That’s just the Kremlin narrative to justify a land brigade to Crimea takeover of Ukrainian territory. And to try and overthrow the Democratically elected President Poroshenko in Kyiv back in 2014. Putin wants to rebuild the Soviet Union but is struggling against Ex Soviet countries who want ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the Regime they were oppressed by for centuries.
