@seanhovan7426 Hey , all big corporate companies are making record profits around the globe while we struggle. The military industrial complex is just piece of the pie. Anyway… we need major wars and conflicts. It’s a historically important aspect of humanity that is as necessary as a good spring cleaning or a change of clothes. Thankfully, wars are a less common occurrence right? 70years of the most peaceful and prosperous era in 2000 years for humanity is nothing to sneer at.

It’s been a problem for decades. The recent decades of global connectivity with mobile devices, media and social media has opened the floodgates to foreign propaganda. I’m still shocked just how asleep at the wheel so many governments and institutions are about this.

@seanhovan7426 I don’t support this war either. Therefore I expect my elected government to use the power it has, to ensure that we help Ukraine eliminate the threat it faces to its people, its culture, its language, its economy, its national existence and its internationally recognised territories and its fight for democratic rights, values and governance. At the same time, we can eliminate the threat posed by the aggressor regime, to our own security interests and national institutions. And we get to create jobs and growth for our own in the process. Win win.

How sad that @winluben2909 and I agree that Congressmen & women have been unconsciously sucked in to Russian propaganda and that 2 years after a full scale invasion, we still have millions around the globe that have not even begun to reach the most basic understanding of why that is a problem and why Ukraine MUST be supported to defeat its invader.
