When a country doesn’t want to be part of your political system and governance, do you adjust yourself to be able to get along peacefully with this country or do you just invade it and commit every genocidal war crime known to man so you can have everything your way? I have seen 3rd world countries with my own eyes. I appreciate the 1st world nation I live in and only hope other nations can evolve to share my values and prosperity so I support and encourage my country and government to fight against those that don’t want to see their people succeed.

  7. Very good topic! Some of the social media things you mentioned I wasn’t aware of . Or the copyrights issues. Really demonstrates a big identity power struggle. Russia wants to be like the west and better then the west but it just can’t seem to avoid the old Copy- Paste habits. Perhaps one day it will. They still need a lot of help and it will take a humble government in the Kremlin to achieve true success for the Russian people, not just the elite Oligarchs

  11. Is asbestos still commonly used in Ukraine and Russia? I have seen so much roofing and fencing made of asbestos it surprises me. Here in Aus 🇦🇺it’s illegal to use it anymore and it costs a small fortune to remove and dispose of it.

  17. @Anna , perhaps you could speak about the efforts of Ukrainians helping each other and how they do it?? Few of us can imagine what it does to a city or a town that is suddenly flooded with refugees that have left their communities and/or have lost EVERYTHING. Definitely have never trusted how exactly my money would be used if I donated to these world health organisation’s. I worked in a Royal Society for The Blind in Australia and I was less then Impressed when I discovered how the CEO and management was living luxurious lives driving Mercs and Maseratis to their multi million dollar mansions while doing a minimum effort to help a blind lady who just wanted to be able to get some in home services done to improve her quality of life. Donate to smaller groups who can prove where they are spending your money and are a part of a struggling country or community. I Bought a handmade item representing Ukraine 🇺🇦 made by a Ukrainian in Ukraine. Was expensive but it helped that business stay afloat, they donated 30% to buying humanitarian aid for their locals that have been displaced or have had their homes destroyed.

  18. Thanks Anna ! The fact that Kyiv was historically a true capital of this area of the world makes one realise the imperial arrogance that has formed since Moscow became the power Centre . The brother of a past kyiven king betrayed his own blood for a seat in power which was established in what is now called Moscow. Perhaps Moscow is better positioned to avoid invasion then Kyiv though 💁🏻‍♂️. So much trauma, so much bloodshed , so much dividing and conquering was going on right Accross the continent it would probably make todays dreadful war look meaningless!! But Ukraine absolutely deserves freedom, sovereignty and a strong geopolitical position that can’t be challenged by Russia or any Regime that would want to occupy and take over. So generally we see all lawns, garden beds , trees , footpaths maintenance happening all year round In much of the Ukrainian video footage I haven’t seen much evidence of that . Even when looking via Google Street view

  23. The thing America DOSEN’T want to do, is see Russia defeated quickly. That would increase the escalation risk that would potentially cost more lives then we can imagine. We want Russian federation to gradually collapse in on itself so it can’t directly use its political power to threaten us and its population will be motivated to cause change in the Kremlin. That’s a very generalised explanation but honestly I don’t think the world knows what to do or what to expect from a collapsed Russian Regime.

  24. I don’t know the international Nuclear laws but … if Putin had that power station blown up, then I think that would be the same if not worse then using a nuclear missiles. The west would have to react to this. Not sure how but it couldn’t go unpunished. 🧐 Anyway, hopefully this is Russia trying to scare Ukraine in to submission as always and in reality they won’t do anything.   25. Hmmm 🤔! 1-China 2-Russia 3-Western society Three totally different regimes! Different government structure. Different beliefs. Different values. Different and yet intertwined histories. It would be unrealistic to expect Russia to treat Ukrainian prisoners of war with the same respect as what the west does. Russia still has a lot of progress to make on its humanitarian issues. So does China . I totally understand why you wish the Russian POWs didn’t get used to help rebuild and clean up the distraction they caused BUT… see it as an opportunity to show these guys the truth about the world outside of Russia. If you treat them humanly and talk with them , educate them, show them empathy… you end up creating this group of people who hopefully understand this situation better and can become incredibly useful to bringing awareness within Russia and possibly even calling for change. Putin doesn’t want these guys back in Russia. It threatens his position narrative and his idea of National security.

Probably the 1st time in 9months I have seen what seems to be a total cover up by the west. A cover up that will excuse them from having to take escalatory action towards Russian aggression. I am close friends with my previous employer who fled Yugoslavia at the age if 7 with his 4siblings parents and grandparents and he HATES Russians with a passion. He blames Moscow for losing his country and wishes NATO had done more to push out the Rusky Mir from their lands. He calls them the biggest threat to Europe and the European way. I have spent 17 years working with the last generation of working European migrants and I have learned and heard enough to know that I’m not wrong about how I view Russia and the west.

The civilian casualties between 2014-2021 were only around 300 ( yes, that’s 300 too many) All other deaths were of armed personnel. All Russia ever do is “claim innocent” and “Denial” of any wrong doing.
