Your border security issues are over hyped by media.
All any side of government has to do is pass a bill in Congress that makes it a criminal offence to employ an unregistered migrant. Bam, suddenly, there is no more incentive for them to risk their lives coming to the US. Millions of Americans benefit from the cheap cost of employing them on farms, construction trade , house cleaning and nannie work.
A wall is a waste of money. They can go over , under and even through it with the right tools. Trump keeps saying he built some 500km of new wall.
Check the facts. most of that 500km was reparations and replacement of what was already there. And Mexico hasn’t paid a cent for it like trump said he would make them .
I don’t see a politician, not even trump , in the foreseeable future that will fix your border because too many Americans , republican or democrats, benefit from the cheap labour.
Migrant crime… 😏 we are human. In every crowd , there is a bad egg.
Authoritarian nations that seek to undermine us are taking advantage of the US border security problems by pushing their own unwanted citizens, criminals and spies to cross over at any cost.
I payed attention to my government here and was critical of one side in particular and complained a lot till I started traveling paying attention to geopolitics and what was happening around the world. Suddenly, my complaints of my government seemed petty, selfish and a waste of time compared what other people have to deal with. Democratic counties are the lucky ones even if imperfect.

Over a period of 40 years , not a single president has succeeded in resolving your border crisis let alone satisfying ALL American citizens with 1 or 2 terms in office. They do the best they can with an opposition party, constitutional laws and guardrails and all sorts of forces, foreign and domestic, trying to undermine them and make them look bad at every turn.
Biden made the mistake of agreeing to link border security with foreign aid. That played right in to Russian propaganda narratives and the maga narrative that there is a migrant invasion going on that for what ever reason had to be stopped now above all other issues…just not while Biden is president.
White House/pentagon is focused on gradually insulating America from external responsibilities which is probably because they have decided it’s time for the US to reboot the military industrial complex which takes years. Also means (regardless of who the president is) oil and gas production will go up, production of US goods nation wide will increase, as well as the new cheap factory labour force that is being developed in Mexico. Aka: the new China .
And BOY do you Americans put in a spectacular performance every election year 🤯😬😅. Media/TV , banners the size of entire high rise buildings, flags, mug shots, huge expensive campaigns , chaotic debates, slander, drama, political violence….its like a Hollywood movie 🍿
