Secretary Wickard, the man who was sued over chicken feed and won the case in a 1942 SCOTUS decision which essentially ruled that the power of the federal government to regulate all aspects of interstate commerce, no matter how trivial or theoretical, was supreme. It gave us the bureaucratic administrative state we have been living in since at least the New Deal.
