He may be honest, but his policing policies are lazy and led to this needless crime. Why aren't his deputies citing people for vehicle violations and why aren't they present when offending vehicles get towed?

@unseen4047 I stand by what I said. The sheriff is responsible for allowing this situation to exist in the first place. If an officer sees a vehicle that is in violation of the law, he should notify the owner and ticket them if deemed necessary. If they do not comply, an officer can go with a tow company to retrieve the vehicle and impound it in a certified lot. Farming out these duties sounds like a form of lazy revenue enhancement.

@unseen4047 That is their job. Both of my brothers were cops and that was part of their job.
