End no-knock raids for all but the most life-threatening situations.

Our family hardware business began in 1869 and ran through three generations and five stores, finally closing in the 1990s. In all that time we never faced a situation such as this. I hope you win your case all the way to the SCOTUS. Hopefully they will overturn Kelo v. City of New London (2005) in the process.

@420GratefulHippie Remember what happened once the truth came out in the 2006 Duke Lacrosse team case. DA Mike Nifong resigned in disgrace, was disbarred, and briefly imprisoned for violating ethics standards. It is rare, but sometimes justice is served. I think this case deserves similar treatment.

@incredibleadventures1027 They were the ones who insisted we do something better with our lives, so we did. One brother became an attorney, another an airline pilot, and became an Air Force officer, retiring at the rank of colonel.

Some of the egregious behavior demonstrated by law enforcement, prosecutors, DAs, and civic board members is reminiscent of the plot of a charming 1943 movie “A Stranger in Town" where an incognito US Supreme Court Justice gets caught up in the corrupt politics of a small community while simply trying to enjoy his summer break fishing. It's really worth watching.

@GameBrog You mean it was an accidental no-knock raid? How does that work?

The Broward Cowards.

Ever wonder how our Republic survived and thrived for nearly two centuries without qualified immunity?

Could we apply this policy to Starbucks?

The Broward Cowards strike again.

This sounds a lot like the Kelo case where the government practiced crony capitalism by favoring one private interest at the expense of another. The SCOTUS got it wrong last time; will they now change their collective minds and do the right thing?

Good thing I wasn't on that city council because I would have voted to ban all hair braiding businesses.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse - unless you are a West Virginia family court judge.

The government version of killdozer.

@patrickcleburneuczjsxpmp9558 You must have information that was not presented in the video, so please explain how the Brinkmann's are engaging in anti-competitive bullying and how they are forcing anyone out of business. How exactly does this work?
1
If this situation is allowed to continue, we're all flocked.

Is it my imagination, or does the west coast seem a bit totalitarian?
