I agree RE: hypocrisy, but I don't think it's because Ukrainians are "white." Afghans, Arabs, and Pakistanis are also "White." (They're Caucasian.) Many are Indo-European just like you and me. Even Libya is largely Caucasian. The Somalian thing might be part of it, though. They've always been seen as the ass of the world since Punt fell, and people think we can just interfere there because "Hey, can't make it any worse!" Well, turns out you can! I'd encourage you to see just how similar the Middle East is to Europe genetically. Many there even have blue or green eyes!
