The hypothalamus produces GNRH, which goes to the pituitary and causes it to produce gonadotrophins, Luteinising Hormone and Follicle Stimulating Hormone, which then go to the gonads and cause them to produce sex hormones. The "hormone blockers" don't "block" shit. They're AGONISTS. They mimic GNRH, and blast the hell out of the pituitary, causing it to desensitise and no longer produce gonadotrophins. That's why we use it to chemically castrate sex offenders. It's not reversible. You've been lied to, and you didn't even bother to learn more, so you've stayed hoodwinked, and have been making a fool out of yourself as a result. Hit the books.

It actually doesn't block anything; it just desensitises the pituitary to GNRH, so the pituitary can't produce Luteinising Hormone and Follicle Stimulating Hormone, both of which are responsible for causing the gonads to create sex hormones. It's not blocking anything. It's disabling something, oftentimes permanently. It's why they use that to chemically castrate sex offenders.
