@felixmidas2020 He's right. And even if he weren't, that's not unkind to believe.
21
I see quite a few people who don't know the definition of a "counter-elite" are now proudly displaying their ignorance in the comments. 🧐
18
He's not an "outsider" as in poor, he's a counter-elite, which is a specific term from a political theory you've never heard of.
6
Go search what the term means, and you'll see he fits the definition perfectly.
5
No, we're not.
4
That's literally the definition of counter-elites.
4
Over your head.
4
Only because you don't know the definition of "counter-elite." Go look it up. He qualifies by the definition, which you're not aware of.
3
Have you heard what RFK is actually saying? I'd encourage you to at least listen to his argument, not what the media claims his argument to be.
3
@christianevanherck6023 Ukraine means borderland. That's the answer to his question.
3
Maybe he's just not as politically woke as you?
3
@griffinj1832 That's what I was thinking. I saw a typo-riddled attack from a guy claiming he had PhDs, but I'm not too sure he was being entirely honest...
3
1. He's right. Democracy inevitably leads to a tyrannical bureaucracy, and leaves you less free than if you had a king. 2. Even if he's wrong, studying history and reaching a conclusion doesn't make him a bad person. When did "democracy" become the only moral form of governance?
3
Indian spotted, Israel defendotted.
2
@jasonwhite6463 The ones who "didn't fall for this bs" don't know what "counter-elite" means.
2
Trump offering the golden age is the counter-elite part.
2
People have already refuted your third point, so I'll take the first two. 1. Go back and relisten to it. He essentially said (paraphrasing) "even if you care about the Ivy Leagues..." Before saying that. It was allowing for a moment the opponent's argument to show why it's irrelevant. Pay better attention. 2. That's the media narrative of Trump. That's not what his non-neocon advisers say about him. They say he's open to criticism and feedback, but once he makes the decision, don't go bitching to the media about it if you disagree. This is not complicated. Don't believe everything you see on TV.
2
@rigelb9025 He's an Xer.
2
@TheNheg66 Exactly. People live in a fantasy world that believes "power to the people" is real, though.
2
@Beelzeboogie No one said anything about killing but you.
2
@lols12169 The term "counter-elites" is appropriate.
2
Public school teaches the exact opposite of Elite Theory. These people think "revolutions" and "political change" comes from "power to the people protests" and "speaking truth to power." They think you can get change without elites.
2
@devin_3875 I saw it elsewhere in the comments. It's a LOTR term, so they can't censor it.
2
@smartphoto59 Elites and hierarchies will always exist.
2
@smartphoto59 You literally said prevent.
2
No, you really don't. They're in no way similar. Maybe media narratives claim they are, but that doesn't make it true.
2
Shitlib cope.
2
Okay? You also can't spell plenty of words without Elon. Elongated, melon, belongingness, (etc.)
2
@tomernst8595 Just come on over to the right, buddy. 😎👍🏻
2
@rigelb9025 No, it doesn't. You don't understand how wealth is built.
2
Bolton wants war. His assessment of both nations is that we should be at war with them. And they're not "explaining away" his character. They're saying what you're told about him by his enemies is wrong.
2
That's a tongue-in-cheek statement.
2
@iankclark They're really not bright, and don't understand what Elite Theory is. These people are the type who believe protests work to bring about political change. They're very bluepilled. I'd say just ignore them, because they think they're really smart, so they'll be smug about it, get confused due to their ignorance, then strut off, confident that they're still correct about everything.
2
@glenf6639 No, your assessment of him is correct.
2
@TomMannis You can't run a country without elites. Is it possible? Maybe. Has it ever happened? No.
1
@sorsocksfake Counter-elites are the leaders. You don't call plumbers voting Trump "counter-elites."
1
@Frustwell Ha! 🤦🏼♂️ You can't use etymology to argue over semantics.
1
@Frustwell You just don't know what the term "counter-elite" means. We're all citing a term coined by someone you haven't heard of, and you're trying to dispute the definition you've never heard because you're out of your depth. It doesn't matter what you think "counter" means, usually. This is a word that already exists with a definition.
1
@user-ln2hg2oe4c He's not making that assumption at all.
1
@Frustwell Just do a single Google search for the term, then feel stupid and come back here and delete all your dumb-ass comments
1
Those people all suck. Shitlibs, the lot of em.
1
Please go read what "counter-elite" means.
1
@vd.s6158 You think that's what it is? I hoped they were just ignorant.
1
The US didn't fight to be free of wealthy people. That's some commie revisionist bullshit.
1
It's mostly just sub-midwits who don't know what "counter-elite" is.
1
Go Google "counter-elite."
1
Copernicus was better!
1
@TheVeritas2100 Please stop embarrassing yourself and search the term "counter-elite."
1
@nicobruin8618 Do you feel secondhand embarrassment at reading that guy's comments? I do. Someone's gotta feel the shame from his proud ignorance! What a buffoon...
1
@felixmidas2020 Yes, they are. Lolberts should never gain power.
