@cargo_vroom9729 No, most reliable texts put Goliath at about 6'6", and Saul is repeatedly described as the tallest in all of Israel. He's a great warrior, as is Goliath. Also, the Philistines had better armour than every soldier in Israel except for one: Saul. If you read all the hints, it's heavily implied this battle was Saul's, and him sending in the shepherd boy was him failing the test.
