Probably not very much. They didn't industrialize or move on from the hunter-gatherer lifestyle, which are two things necessary before a society begins collecting and categorizing knowledge.

@voodoofairy oh good grief, industrialization isn't build on slavery per say. It may have been in some countries, but not all. Industrialization IS a de facto parte Of a successful civilization, because without engineering and medicine, you end up dying out like the Mayans or Indus Valley civ. There is a certain amount of knowledge you need to industrialize, but until you industrialize after acquiring said knowledge, you hit a wall where you can go no further as a society.

Rose Orchard The Mayans died off due to climate change and famine. Their glory days passed long before the Europeans arrived. The rest were decimated by disease.
