  1. This has nothing to do with "going woke" and everything to do with new media companies needing to find new solid revenue streams to stay afloat and turn a profit. They were NEVER profitable for 20 years. Not when you liked them, not when you didn't. Not when anyone liked them. They've always been in the red. Get used to seeing this happen everywhere, all over the internet. The new "dot com bubble" is about to burst.
