  1. He said "English-speaking" so that we can't respond with the plethora of stats showing Asia, Africa, and South America are all more violent per capita. America is below average globally, and I think this chap knows that, but he'd rather compare us just to the UK, Canada, and Australia basically. (There are a few more, but he's still cutting out the really violent places to make a point--Selection Bias in action.)
