@rawbmar1166 also, even if we fucking did need them someday, and they actually showed up to help, they're paid to do that. It's a service we already pay for constantly. If we had a surgeon we saw because of an illness, and he burst in the door 90% of the time and punched us in the stomach and spit on us, we'd be pissed off. Then this dipshit would say, "well, I guess you must not like antibiotics, then! Don't complain and just figure out how to do surgery on yourself!" Also, where did this unamerican "ignore problems with authority and be a good subservient bitch" idea come from? When did conservatives start going to bat for the Redcoats?

@johnthemighty6189 It doesn't matter why they die. Most cop deaths are car accidents too. Roofers and garbage men are still far more likely to die than cops, and you're trying to make a distinction where there isn't one.

And here's my stat on the accidental deaths: https://www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/press-releases/fbi-releases-2018-statistics-on-law-enforcement-officers-killed-in-the-line-of-duty Last year (2017) the accidents were 48 to felonious assaults 46. This year, they're 51 and 55, respectively. Still, it's usually around 50-50 for accidents (usually car wrecks, many of which involved the piggy not wearing his seatbelt he keeps extorting money from the peons for!) and felonious assaults. People just like to inflate the deaths by including accidents to make it seem more dangerous. (Kinda like including suicides with homicides to make guns seem more deadly!) If you take the just under 700,000 cops in the country and consider that 51 got shot last year (4 were killed by felonious vehicular assault) and only TWO of those were at traffic stops, that "OH MY GOD ANYONE COULD KILL ME AT ANY MOMENT" scenario everyone describes as unfathomably dangerous, it seems the fearmongering is unwarranted. Read, people. Truth is right in the palm of your hands in 2019. There's absolutely no excuse to be ignorant of what you're talking about.

@jessemalone8363 That's not "Terms I can understand." I need my numbers and data, not video games. Cop deaths are continuing to fall, and the largest amount of cop deaths on the job happen due to car accidents.
