"There should be a law about this--there's laws on everything!!" Yes, Joe. That's the problem. The solution isn't "more laws."

@AAAFilm-yt7gx Freedom. A free market with better choices. People use Facebook because they like it. If enough people stop liking it, they'll leave. No reason to let elderly millionaires on the other side of the country make decisions backed by force for things they don't understand. Just let the market take care of it!

@AAAFilm-yt7gx children worked in the mines, because... Wait for it... They had to. They and their families had no better options, and luckily, the economy was progressing to a point where they no longer had to, which is why child labour was becoming less and less prevalent already. Even if you teleported back in time and criminalized ALL child labour, those kids wouldn't just enroll in their local schools and then universities and become professors and doctors. They'd just starve and die, along with their families. Bravo. It's like sweatshops. They aren't there because it's fun. They're there because its their best possible option, and removing that income source from them won't magically make them better off. It will cripple them.

Online speech IS protected by the First Amendment. It just doesn't allow you to force a private business to accommodate your speech.

@theleatherface6941 You'd be wrong. I hope you didn't bet your house or car on that, because you'd have a lot of explaining to do for your wife.

@Nswix That's what I'm saying!!

Yes. Fewer laws. We're already the most litigious society on the planet. Remember "3 Felonies a Day?"

@OvenLovin 710 Dope! Now we can start healing this broken nation. 😤😤💪🏻🤗😍💯✊🏻

@northeu No, because everyone throughout all of history has to work or starve. By your definition, all employment is slavery. Oh my God, don't tell me you're a commie and that's where you were heading with this.

Me before the video: "Well, at least she doesn't support forcibly breaking apart these companies!" Me at 6:55 : "Fuck!"

But they are a private company. They don't have to host your ideas. They can "respect your rights" and kick you off the site at the same time, because they're not forcing you to no longer be able to speak or prosecuting you for doing so.

@OvenLovin 710 I'm not pushing for no laws. I'm pushing for fewer. Anything that doesn't protect life, liberty, or property gets the axe.

@northeu It's all about consent. Do you not realize that? The government exists to protect your negative rights: the right to not be killed, to not be hurt, to not be enslaved, to not be stolen from, all without your consent. Kids working a job because they have no other option is none of those things, and taking that job away from them means their families starve.
