I'll admit that my Libertarian heart is in tortured pain to admit this, but I think the Feds need to be in charge of police regulations and policies. They're far superior with their training.

The ONLY way the "we tried non-violence and it didn't work" argument is coherent is if violence is the only message you use to measure a protest and a movement. What were the policy proposals? Did you meet with officials? Who was your leader? Where were you protesting? Were your proposals smart statements, like ending qualified immunity and busting up public sector unions, or were they something like "free college and abolish the police!"? Arguing the only other option is to get violent is to claim that you didn't accomplish your goals because you didn't hurt or kill enough people. I'm not buying it. This modern movement has been woefully disorganized and decentralized (I know that's for safety reasons, but come on lefties... Hierarchies aren't that scary! 😜) and that's why I'd guess change wasn't effected. Those Democratic politicians running these big cities don't give a damn who you hurt or what you destroy; their jobs are safe! Nothing for them to worry about. Worry about your fellow man who got royally butt-fucked by opportunistic Antifa "Activists" and other ne'er-do-wells. Does that make sense? It's like trying to screw in a nail with a hammer, then beating the screw with the hammer with all your might because "I tried doing this gently and it didn't work!" Are you using the right tools?

YES!! Thank you Schulz for saying what I've been trying to tell people: increase pay and requirements. Make it a profession. You're never going to improve policing by defunding it or abolishing it. Wise man! (Cuz you agreed with me! 😆)
