@stephenhughes5156 He knew what he was doing. Any police department worth its salt knows you NEVER hold someone prone with hands cuffed behind back for long. You cuff, roll over to side, or sit him up, or stand him up, because that's just asking for positional asphyxia. If he ever went to any police academy, he knew better. On top of that, you NEVER are supposed to kneel into a perp's neck. That can cause a whole host of damage to the spine, trachea, or, as Joe said, cut off blood flow to the brain. So unless this cop was literally retarded, he knew better. He's a shit person and a murderer and he belong in prison. (I'm not mad at you for asking questions, btw. It's good to get an actual dialogue going, so keep asking things in good faith!)

@SRosenberg203 It matters for the degree of murder, but not for the result. You'd just better hope the DA hast sufficient evidence for 2nd. 3rd was a sure thing. I'm nervous about 2nd getting a conviction. Hopefully, it still will.

@lrdrskillz1 No, the reason I know is because I stay informed about police killings. Some asshole burning down low-income housing and destroying a small business didn't inform me of shit.

@Shia Lebeouf: Life Coach I do. If you do care about this issue, get into some of the "Police the Police" groups online. They can get a little cringey and a little too "anti-cop" and not enough "pro-reform," but they always talk about each case.
