It also affects their logic-related abilities. Whereas if you were to make a claim to me, like "my mother bought me a bicycle for Christmas," I could ask "how do you know that?" And you could say "because I saw the receipts and found it hidden in her closet with a card for me wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper," which all makes sense, they would say, "the government is putting thoughts in my head and I can prove it using this copper wire," and you might ask "how do you know that?" They won't have a logical, scientific answer to that question, because they can't reason that part out.

@gooddoggo3547 hey, bud, I'm 24 and I just got diagnosed (apparently I was too high-functioning to flunk out of uni and graduated before receiving treatment!) The best thing I can give you is MAKE A SCHEDULE!! You have the medication to help you focus, but those meds aren't going to tell you what to focus ON, so you might pop your pills and then look at memes intently or rub your rod raw or get stuck in some Wikipedia hole, so make a list of objectives and deadlines and update them daily. Good luck! Hope you make great progress! I haven't!
